Quick and Easy Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Chocolate chip cookies are delicious, we all know it, but have you ever wanted an easier way; one easy chocolate chip cookie recipe? Now its here! You can enjoy your favorite pastime and have your very own homemade chocolate chip cookies in a matter of minutes without wrecking your kitchen or taking up your whole day.
The secret is in the first ingredient; cake mix. Yes, that right cake mix. By using yellow cake mix in your cookies you obtain many ingredients that are also in that complex cookie recipe without the trouble of buying them all. Plus the cake mix, gives the cookies a unique taste unlike other recipes that claim to be an easy chocolate chip cookie recipe. You have never tasted another cookie like this onepart cake, part cookie and wholly delicious and easy!
Heres what youll need to get started with the easy chocolate chip cookie recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 box of yellow (or white) cake mix (I like yellow mix since it tastes richer)
- cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
1) First, heat up your oven to 350 degrees. Combine the cake mix and oil in a medium mixing bowl. Blend. Then take the eggs and add them to the mixture, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
2) Fold in the chocolate chips with a rubber spatula until they are thoroughly combined. If you would like, this is a good time to add 1 cup of nuts or even 1 cup of finely chopped coconut. These additions are, of course, optional but definitely add a little something extra to this easy recipe. Changing it up a little can add that extra spark youre looking for.
3) Using a cookie scoop, scoop out the cookies, and place them on a greased cookie sheet. Bake the cookies for about 8-10 minutes or until they are lightly browned on the bottom. But beware, the cookies wont really turn brown on the top so dont be waiting for that as a sign that theyre done. Just watch them closely. You dont want to burn your first batch of cookies thinking that they are not done because the tops arent brown on the top. Watch the clock and check the cookie bottoms.
4) After the easy chocolate chip cookie recipe is prepared, baked and cooked, let them cool for about 5 minutes and then enjoy to your hearts content!
This recipe is one of my favorites because it is so easy! My friends really like the taste of the chocolate chip cookie recipe and are always asking what my secret is but Im not tellingbecause who could guess that it is something as simple as cake mix! How much fun is that!
This recipe is also a kid friendly recipe since it is one that is easy to use, with few directions and lots of fun things to do like mixing. Invite your child to join you in the kitchen and help you to make these cookies. It is time well spent with your child.
Have fun experimenting with different types of cake mix too! Try confetti cake mix for a light and fun cookie or even chocolate cake mix for a denser and richer cookie.
The possibilities are endless, but so easy! This easy chocolate chip cookie recipe will have your family and neighbors wanting more and little will they know it only took you about 15 minutes to create something so scrumptious!
