Christmas dishes are major parts of the yearly celebration of Christmas. Foods will always a big element of Christmas and any other holiday. So, to make it more interesting and new, you can prepare this easy-to-make sweet potato Christmas dish which works very well as a treat. With this recipe, you will need eight medium-size sweet potatoes, two tablespoons of butter, half a cup of hot milk, half teaspoon of salt, two teaspoons honey and half pound of marshmallows.

Unpeel the sweet potatoes. After doing so, cut them into smaller chunks. Add in a little amount of water at the bottom of the dish and cook the sweet potatoes in your microwave until they are soft and tender. When cooked, mash the sweet potatoes and when they are smooth, beat in milk, butter, honey and salt. Place in a baking dish, cover with marshmallows and bake at 350 degrees until the marshmallows puff and turn golden brown. Enjoy the treat with your family!
